About the Artist
Heather Rosenman
Heather Rosenman creates ceramic vessels and sculptures distinguished by their rich textures and sculptural presence. A New York native now based in Los Angeles, she refined her artistic foundation at The Cooper Union and The Basel School of Design in Switzerland. Her work draws from ancient artifacts, semiology, and modern art, resulting in pieces that resonate with both historical depth and contemporary grace.
Rosenman distills forms to their gestural essence, emphasizing the dynamic tension between positive and negative space. Her surfaces — marked by graphic contrasts and experimental lava glazes — evoke a sense of timelessness. Each piece stands as a futuristic relic, seamlessly blending primal aesthetics with a refined, modern sensibility.
